The world’s greatest flamenco dancer finally in Greece

Sara Baras, together with the amazing Jose Serrano, her dancers and orchestra, under the baton of distinguished guitarist Keko Baldomemo will make their first appearance in Greece.

Through the 14 choreographies making up the performance Shadows, the Odeon audiences will come to know the bewitching priestess of flamenco, Sara Baras. The performance marks the 25-anniversary since the inception of the Sara Baras Flamenco Ballet Company. Shadows revolves around farruca, a dance which has been popularized by the amazing dancer throughout her twenty careers of career. The breathtaking sets, designed by Andres Merida, are also instrumental to the success of the performance. Keko Balmodera serves as conductor/director of the company, collaborating with the famous saxophone player Tim Ries and the internationally acclaimed violinist Ara Malikian.
