The Chemical Brothers, the duo that redefined the idea of electronic dance music, are coming to Athens for a spectacular live show at the Olympic Fencing Centre, on Saturday, September 8th.
Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons, the two mastermind musicians / producers / djs, behind The Chemical Brothers are bringing their new live show, full of visuals, strobe lights and lasers with the basic idea remaining that a gig should create its own transcendent audio/visual space where the audience can lose themselves!
The “brothers” were the main cause that led Manchester to leave behind the flower power revival and the brit-pop era and saw literally everybody dancing to their big beats, with a blend of high energy and genius electronic music.
Songs like "Hey Boy Hey Girl", "Galvanize", "Setting Sun", "Block Rockin' Beats", "Do It Again", "Leave Home", "Let Forever Be", "Out Of Control", "Where Do I Begin", "Star Guitar", "The Test", "Electrobank", "Go", and many others, made them one of the most successful bands in the world, with millions of sales, sold-out tours and awards.
Always restless and creative, they manage to attract open-minded listeners from almost any type of musical genre and taste. Many important artists have participated in their works as guest vocalists (Noel Gallagher, Bernand Sumner, Beck, St. Vincent, Q-Tip, Richard Ashcroft, Beth Orton, Hope Sandoval etc). They are currently working on their new forthcoming album.
We are welcoming the new season with a night full of electro-dance energy that everyone is expecting!
