The official video features 3-time Oscar-nominated actress Saoirse Ronan. Hozier followed up the success of his debut LP with the track 'Better Love', taken from the soundtrack of the Warner Bros’ adventure film The Legend Of Tarzan.
His startling ‘Nina Cried Power’ EP followed in September 2018, featuring legendary soul/gospel singer Mavis Staples and iconic musician Booker T Jones on organ. Hozier has dedicated the song to Staples and to the music heritage of artists such as Nina Simone, Joni Mitchell, Billie Holiday, James Brown, Bob Dylan, Woody Guthrie. His long awaited second album, "Wasteland, Baby!" will be released on March 1st.
Acclaim for Hozier’s recent shows and newly-released music has been widespread. Reviews stated that “Hozier’s watertight backing band wreathed the choruses in four-part harmonies, elevating his new songs into the realms of the celestial”. “It’s rare that a genuinely brilliant singer comes along — his is cause for celebration.” – Evening Standard
