The Hellenic Academy of Clinical Dentistry (HACD) organises on 20th-21st February 2021, a two-day on-line conference “Meet the Legends”, with guest speakers Dr. Jordi Manauta and Dr. Nikos Perakis.

Dr. Jordi Manauta completed his undergraduate studies at the Technological University of Mexico (Mexico) and his post graduate studies at the International University of Catalonia in Barcelona (Spain). He is a Visiting Professor at the University of Siena (Italy) and Egas Moniz University (Portugal), and practices Aesthetic and Conservative Dentistry privately in Santa Margherita Ligure (Italy). He specialises in the field of Aesthetic and Conservative Dentistry and maintains his private practice in in Santa Margherita Ligure (Italy). He is an honorary member of Style Italiano, the author of the book “Layers: An Atlas of Composite Resin Stratification” (Quintessence, 2012) and author and co-author of publications in international journals.

Dr. Nikos Perakis completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Bologna (Italy) and his post graduate studies at the University of Geneva (Switzerland) where he obtained a Doctorate under the direction of Prof. Pascal Magne, and the Specialization in Fixed Prosthodontics (SSRD) under the direction of Prof. Urs Belser. He is Professor at the Masters in Restorative Dentistry, University of Bologna and Master in Pediatric Dentistry, University of Padua. Over the past years, he has published scientific articles, book chapters and he has lectured internationally. He maintains his own private practice in Bologna (Italy).

The conference will be broadcasted on-line, live. The participants will have the capability to rewatch the recorded presentations and practical demonstration for 2 weeks after the meeting.

Note: Participation in the conference will NOT receive CE credits. The Committee for the Certification of Continuing Educatton Training of Dentists - at the meeting of October 5, 2018, unanimously decided the NON-AUTHORIZATION Certificate Provider to the "Academy of Clinical Dentistry". The above decision was based on the short time horizon of the Scientific Society, whose educational activity begins from the date of foundation of 20-2-2017 and the small and inadequate number of events, mainly Webinar.
