Βυτίνα - Σπήλαιο Κάψια - Δημητσάνα

Συγκέντρωση στο σημείο συνάντησης (7:30 στον Σταθμό Λαρίσης) και ξεκινάμε την εκδρομή μας! Πρώτη μικρή στάση στον Ισθμό της Κορίνθου και συνεχίζουμε για την κεντρική Πελοπόννησο και συγκεκριμένα την Αρκαδία.

Το όρος Μαίναλο φιλοξενεί μερικά από τα ομορφότερα και γραφικότερα χωριά της Ελλάδας και εμείς για σήμερα επιλέγουμε να γνωρίσουμε το κεφαλοχώρι του, την  Βυτίνα. Χτισμένη σε υψόμετρο 1.033μ., είναι ταυτισμένη με τις ομορφιές του φθινοπώρου και του χειμώνα και υποδέχεται φιλόξενα τους επισκέπτες της. Εκεί μας περιμένει πιστοποιημένος «οδηγός» της Vitina trekking για έναν περίπατο/ξενάγηση στη Βυτίνα και τα μυστικά της. Θα περπατήσουμε στα πέτρινα σοκάκια του χωριού και θα μάθουμε για την ιστορία, την παράδοση, την κληρονομιά και τον πολιτισμό του τόπου. Θα έχουμε την ευκαιρία να ζήσουμε από λίγο πιο κοντά την καταπράσινη και γραφική Βυτίνα.

Συνεχίζουμε για την Δημητσάνα την Κυρά της Αρκαδίας που σε ταξιδεύει στον χρόνο. Θα δούμε την βιβλιοθήκη που λειτουργεί από το 1764 και όσοι επιθυμούν μπορούν να επισκεφθούν το Υπαίθριο Μουσείο Υδροκίνησης. Ελεύθερος χρόνος για γεύμα σε τοπική ταβέρνα της περιοχής, για βόλτα, ψώνια και καφέ.

Στις 17:00 θα ξεκινήσουμε για την επιστροφή στην Αθήνα με μικρές στάσεις για ξεκούραση!

Vitina - Kapsia Cave - Dimitsana

Our departure point is at Larissis Station at 7.30 a.m. and our trip is about to set off. Our first rapid stop will be at the Canal of Corinth and we will continue to Central Peloponnese, more specifically to the region of Arcadia.

Mount Mainalon shelters some of the most beautiful and picturesque villages of Greece. Our destination will be Vitina, at the footsteps of Mainalon. Built at the altitude of 1.033m, it is a village worth visiting it, as its beauties of autumn and winter and its hospitability for all visitors identify it the most. A certified “guide” of Vitina trekking will be waiting for us for a walking tour around Vitina and its secrets. We will walk around the stoned alleys of the village and we will learn about the history, the tradition, the inheritance and the culture of the area. We will have the chance to have a close experience of this verdant and graphic place.

We will carry on driving to Dimitsana, this legendary village which travels every visitor through time. We could visit not only the Historical Library founded in 1764 but also for those interested the Open-Air Water Power Museum. Free time will be available to have lunch at a local tavern of the area, stroll around, shop and enjoy our coffee.

At 17.00 p.m., we will go aboard the bus with destination to Athens, having rapid rest-stops.
